Pages Read: 162

As I mentioned last week, I’m slowly rereading the Percy Jackson series. I finished up Titan’s Curse this week and I enjoyed it. Not sure if I will be moving on to the last two books anytime soon; I have a lot of other things I want to read right now and I’m not ~super~ in the mood for Middle Grade.

9780141356112The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli
Page Count: 336 | Goodreads
Rating: ★★★☆☆ RTC

Pages Read: 186

This is now my second book I’ve read by Becky Albertalli; I definitely enjoyed Simon vs. The Homo Sapien’s Agenda more. This one was funny and relatable, but the overall message or moral-of-the-story seemed kind of…superficial? I’ll talk about this more in my review later this week, but I just didn’t really grasp what the main character learned from all of this. It’s a lot of angst angst despair worry jealousy omg a boy now everything is great.

Page Count: 870 | Goodreads
Pages Read: 700

Nobody talk to me, I’m having a moment with this book. I just don’t know what more to say at this point. I can’t believe it has taking me this many years to read these books. Finishing this series is going to destroy me. I may be in a book slump until Christmas.

Current thoughts on where I am in the book:
»Umbridge is literally the worst person I have ever met in life
»Fred and George are ICONIC
»Dumbledore is a L E G E N D
»
I’m feeling…sympathy for Snape? What is this feeling?

Page Count: 534 | Goodreads
Pages Read: 186

As some of you may know, I’m currently rereading the first 5 books of The Mortal Instruments series since I’ve never read the last book, City of Heavenly Fire. I actually don’t remember a thing from this book, so it’s basically like I’m reading it for the first time/

Current thoughts on where I am in the book:
»Can Jace just go back to normal NOW; this Jace is so LAME
»That’s it

history-is-all-you-left-me.jpgHistory is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera
Page Count: 320 | Goodreads

“When Griffin’s first love and ex-boyfriend, Theo, dies in a drowning accident, his universe implodes…To make things worse, the only person who truly understands his heartache is Jackson. But no matter how much they open up to each other, Griffin’s downward spiral continues. If Griffin is ever to rebuild his future, he must first confront his history, every last heartbreaking piece in the puzzle of his life”

Yes, you read that right. The time has come. I can’t wait any longer. I know my heart is about to be torn in two, I know I am about to weep uncontrollably, but I need to ingest this book. If it’s even half as good as They Both Die at The End, I will be ecstatic.

9780545930826_mres.jpgAll The Crooked Saints by Maggie Stiefvater
Page Count: 320 | Goodreads

“Any visitor to Bicho Raro, Colorado is likely to find a landscape of dark saints, forbidden love, scientific dreams, miracle-mad owls, estranged affections, one or two orphans, and a sky full of watchful desert stars.
At the heart of this place you will find the Soria family, who all have the ability to perform unusual miracles. And at the heart of this family are three cousins longing to change its future….They are all looking for a miracle. But the miracles of Bicho Raro are never quite what you expect”

It’s been FAR too long since I’ve had Maggie Stiefvater’s writing in my life, so it’s about time I read this one. The Raven Cycle is one of my favorite series of all times, so I have high hopes. I’m excited because this is another ~paranormal~ book of hers, but a bit hesitant because it’s also categorized under magical realism, which isn’t typically my favorite.

So that’s it! Hope you enjoyed my WWWs! What are yours?
